TG Group has opened a £1.5 million construction and demolition waste materials recycling facility in Ellesmere, Shropshire.
The 2,000 sq m facility recycles 90 per cent of waste brought onto the site and reduces the amount of waste sent to landfill.

TG Group managing director Tudor Griffiths said: “The TG Group’s MRF is Shropshire’s most progressive waste management facility and will rank alongside the very best in the county.”
WRAP provided a grant of £245,000 towards the building of the facility that will sort wood, cardboard, plastics, metals, aggregates and soils.
It is situated on the existing TG Group landfill site, and landfill gas is used to power the facility.
