German company Aurelius has announced the sale of UK company Regain Polymers to the France-based mineral supplier Imerys.
Sold for an undisclosed sum, Imerys are going to expand its Performance Additives Division which produces quality products from recycled polymers.
Allerton Bywater company Regain Polymers is known for being leading reprocessors and recyclers of plastic in the UK.
The company makes its products in-line with customer specifications within the environmental, packaging, automotive, garden products and construction sector.
Regain’s product list includes polymers such as high-density polyethylene (HDPE), polypropylene (PP), talc-filled polypropylene (PPT) and polystyrene (PS), as well as other customer-specific plastics.
