US firm Bulk Handling Systems (BHS) has formed its new BHS Europe division, which will be based in Amsterdam.

This follows the acquisition of Nihot Recycling Technology earlier this year.

As a result of this, Nihot director of development Cees Dujin will become BHS Europe managing director while continuing in his current role.

He will be responsible for sales, product delivery and customer service of the full range of BHS products and systems.

These integrated recycling and waste processing systems will feature BHS screening technology, Nihot air technology and National Recovery Technologies optical sorters. BHS will design and integrate the systems.

BHS chief executive Steve Miller said: “We are committed to providing first-class sales, service and support to our customers throughout the world.

“As we continue to build our European footprint and customer base, it’s important to us that we have the pieces in place to support this growth.

“After working together for many years, I have a great deal of respect for Cees and his team, and am truly excited about the future of BHS Europe under his direction.”
