Two major contracts worth over £2 million in revenue have helped the company start off well in 2014.

This includes a £1.4 million deal with Birmingham City Council to supply 300,000 Straight wheeled bin inner caddies between May 2014 and November 2015.

It has also won a contract with Gravesham Borough Council worth £820,000 to supply various products including kitchen caddies and kerbside caddies for food waste, wheeled bins and home delivery services.

Straight chief executive Jonathan Straight said: “Our focus remains on profitably growing revenues in all of our diverse markets, and our recent contract wins and future pipeline provide a strong foundation for the year ahead. These wins highlight our market leading expertise in the provision of stellar recycling products and we look forward to maintaining momentum in the year ahead.”
