1.5 million tonnes of material will be processed with scrap material being collected from Chongqing, Yunnan, Shaanxi, Henan and other regions for reprocessing. Materials will be sold to 10 cities around China.

The facility comes as a result of an agreement signed in 2009 between China Resources Development and the Neijiang Municipal People’s Government.
