Price changes were seen last week for both recycled paper and metals, according to the latest Intelligence report.

In paper, mixed paper lost £3 per tonne on the week before, while more emphasis on OCC added another £1 to the price.

Metal grades continued to suffer the impact of the commodity price fall with £25 coming off almost all non-ferrous grades.

In plastics, the PRN market remains volatile but physical prices remained stable with the market uncertain where PRNs will be from one week to the next, meaning it is difficult to price the physical.
