W&S Recycling is planning to build a £10 million materials recycling facility in Poole, Dorset.
The company will apply for planning permission next month, and if it gets approval, it hopes to start operating the facility next summer.

W&S Recycling owner told the Daily Echo newspaper: “The proposed materials recycling facility, which will be one of the most advanced in the UK, will put Dorset at the forefront of recycling and will regenerate this derelict land with modern buildings and attractive landscaping.”
Initially, the facility will handle 25,000 tonnes per year, eventually increasing to 100,000 tonnes per year.
It will sort municipal and commercial waste such as paper, cardboard, plastics, steel and aluminium cans, and glass.
