The energy services business Dalkia is to be fully integrated into the Veolia group in the UK.

Already owned by Veolia, it will adopt the brand name of its parent company and will enable Veolia to offer its customers a wider range of environmental services in the area of energy, water, waste and recycling.

The former Dalkia business will continue to offer customers its expertise in developing, constructing and operating greener and more economical energy solutions with the added benefit of incorporating the knowledge and expertise from other areas of the business.

Among its services, the company has built biomass and anaerobic digestion facilities.

Veolia senior executive vice president for UK and Ireland Estelle Brachlianoff (pictured) said: “Veolia has always been the UK’s leading environmental solutions provider, and bringing our energy arm, Dalkia, fully on board truly cements us as a team.

“We know this will be only a benefit to our customers now and going forward, as they will be open to a larger range of services helping them be more sustainable into the future.”
