A contract has been signed between packaging manufacturer GEFCO and Jaguar Land Rover that will see cardboard boxes replaced with reusable containers.

The contract will apply both in the UK and internationally and will see the containers used in Jaguar Land Rover’s supply chain when parts and components are being provided.

GEFCO director for warehousing and reusable packaging Phillipe Doyer said: “We are delighted to be afforded this exciting opportunity to build on our relationship with Jaguar Land Rover, and to achieve further growth and development of our GefBox solution, which is already used by 1,500 manufacturers across 22 international markets.”
