Little Greene’s 100 per cent recycled steel paint cans are the first to carry the ‘Widely Recycled at Local Council Recycling Centres’ label.

Initially the label will be used on the 10 litre cans, but will eventually be put on all sizes.

The cans are made by Ardagh Group.

Little Greene Paint Company managing director David Mottershead said: “To use tins made from recycled materials, which can in turn be recycled themselves, is something of which we are extremely proud and we are delighted that this is now being recognised through the ‘Widely Recycled at Local Council Recycling Centres’ logo –and that we are the first UK pain manufacturer to embrace it.”
