Wyllie Recycling in Perth, Scotland, has suffered a fire at its yard.

The company, which collects dry mixed recyclables, paper, cardboard, metals, plastics, wood and residual waste, saw the fire break out early this morning.

Tayside Fire and Rescue Service said the flames were under control by 9:30am and no one had been injured.

A spokeswoman for Tayside Police said: “Enquiries into the full set of circumstances surrounding the incident will be undertaken in due course but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances at this time.”
