A fire has been extinguished at Molloy’s Scrap Metals in Armagh, Northern Ireland after firefighters fought the blaze for 18 hours.

The fire threatened to spread to homes and other businesses, but firefighters brought in specialist equipment to prevent this from happening.

A total of 80 firefighters using ten fire engines were involved in extinguishing the blaze.

An investigation will now begin into the fire, but at this stage it is believed the cause of the fire was accidental.
