Last week’s Intelligence report saw price increases for both metal and paper grades in the recycling market, but again there was no change for plastics.

In paper, OCC continues to perform strongly, increasing by £4 per tonne on last week, while mixed paper was up by £3 per tonne. News & pam increased by £2 per tonne.

Looking at metals, copper grades were up by £225 per tonne, while brass rose by £175 per tonne. Aluminium grades saw an extra £100 per tonne added.

There was no change for plastics again this week, but underlying factors suggest that this should change soon.
