Last week saw price rises for quite a few recycled materials in our weekly Intelligence report.

LDPE 98/2 was up by £20 per tonne on the back of extra demand, with 99/1 also rising by the same amount.

After months in the doldrums, slightly improved demand pushed up the price of PET bottles by £3 per tonne.

In paper, £1 was added to the price of both OCC and mixed paper, although there is a view that the market is topping out.

Copper increased by £100 per tonne, £25 was added to the price of each tonne of brass, while aluminium was also up by £25 per tonne.
