Business to business recycler Redeem Holdings has purchased recycling company Environmental Mobile Control (EMC) for an undisclosed sum.

EMC is based in Staffordshire, employs 35 people and is on course for a £4 million turnover this year.

Falkirk-based Redeem chief executive Curt Hopkins said: “EMC which specialises in providing value-added recycling and data security services within the SME, corporate and public sectors, complements Redeem’s existing expertise in the consumer, charitable and white-label markets and expands the range of services we can offer to our clients.

“It also extends our international presence from UK, Ireland and Hong Kong, into Norway and Denmark.”
