Untha XR RDF shredderUntha – stand 5R20-S21

The new XR RDF shredder from Untha will be making its UK debut at RWM this year. Announced in May, it will be the first time that UK professionals will be able to see the technology. It is the first shredder to be designed and manufactured in UNTHA’s new innovation centre in Kuchl, Austria. The XR has been purposefully designed to increase operator’s profitability and thanks to the UNTHA Eco Drive technology, promises to reduce energy consumption by up to 50 per cent. This could save in excess of £500,000 in electricity costs alone in less than five years.

UNTHA UK managing director Chris Oldfield said: “With this RDF shredder, which is also suitable for untreated bulky waste shredding, we can offer throughput, flexibility, precision, uptime, energy-efficiency, cost savings and noise minimisation, that customers don’t even think possible.”
