Welsh public sector organisations and businesses are to be helped to become more resource efficient by the Carbon Trust and WRAP Cymru.

The collaboration will deliver client manager services to businesses and public sector organisations as part of the Welsh Government’s Resource Efficient Wales service.

Participating organisations will receive support to reduce their energy, water, resource use and waste as well as learning about additional sources of support from the Welsh Government.

WRAP director Marcus Gover (pictured) said: “We are delighted to announce that working in partnership, WRAP Cymru and Carbon Trust have won the contracts to deliver resource efficiency support to Welsh public sector organisations and businesses of all sizes.

“Both have strong track records of helping organisations reap the benefits of using fewer resources. WRAP Cymru looks forward to working closely with the Welsh Government and the Carbon Trust on what we believe will be a successful and productive collaboration.”
