The Circular Economy Task Force has appointed Sue Armstrong Brown as its chair.

She replaces Julie Hill who has become the new chair of WRAP and she is currently a director of policy at Green Alliance.

Members of the Circular Economy Task Force include Boots, Kyocera, Unilever, Resource Association, Sinvestec, Veolia, Viridor and WRAP. It is run by Green Alliance.

Up to the 2015 general election, the Circular Economy Task Force will be looking at the role and influence of government institutions and the reforms necessary to bring about a step change in UK resource management.

Sue Armstrong Brown said: “I’m excited to be joining an initiative at the leading of thinking on resources at a stage when it has such potential to transform how we consume, innovate, and reduce business and environmental risks.”
