The value of many plastic and metal recycled material grades fell again last week.

PET bottles lost a further £5 per tonne, while HDPE natural bottles lost a further £20 per tonne.

Price falls were also seen for used wheelie bins, HIPS and mixed bottles.

LDPE grades were largely stable.

Both copper and aluminium grades lost a further £25 per tonne and continued the slide that has been seen in metal prices in recent weeks.

Paper grades continued to be stable, but there is an expectation that this stability cannot last.
