Plastics rise, Non-ferrous metals fall

Non-ferrous metals saw a decrease in price per tonne, as copper fell by £200 and brass and aluminium by £100, according to last week’s Intelligence report.

Plastics including PET bottles and HDPE Natural 95/5 baled rose by £20.

LDPE 98/2 remained stable.

Paper grades such as OCC increased by £2, while ONP and mixed paper saw no change in price.

Ferrous metals including HMS1 remained unchanged.
