LDPE 98/2 was down £10, after seeing a fall of £30 in the 24 July Intelligence report.

Looking at metals, copper dropped by a further £125 per tonne following sustained falls for industrial metals in recent weeks.

These falling prices have also had an impact on cans, with steel ones down £10 and aluminium cans by £30 per tonne.

While OCC and news & pam stayed the same as last week, this was mainly down to a couple of buyers keeping the market high for the former. The market expects further price falls.

Mixed paper was down by £1 per tonne, and the outlook for August is weaker.
