The PRYSM Group has announced the purchase of recycling and waste event RWM in partnership with CIWM, from Ascential plc.
RWM will join PRYSM’s Environmental Division, which currently includes The European Contamination Expo Series, Hazardous Waste Expo, Land Remediation Expo, The Flood Expo and The Marine & Coastal Civil Engineering Expo.
RWM event director Nick Woore said: “Waste, recycling and resource management is crucial to all of our lives and the significant contribution that this dynamic and innovative sector can make to the economy is increasingly being recognised by governments and industry. Running this event is an honour we are not taking lightly, and we will ensure that this exhibition leads the way for the industry tasked with delivering a sustainable future for our country.”
CIWM chief executive Dr Colin Church said: “We welcome PRYSM’s decision to invest in expanding its environmental business and there are clear synergies with other events in the PRYSM stable that will further broaden RWM’s reach and relevance.”
While commercial terms of the deal have not been released, a further announcement confirming the show dates will be made soon, say CIWM.
