Claire O’Donoghue has joined Recycling UK as business development manager.
Her role will be primarily to secure material for the company to fulfil orders into UK paper mills and its increasing orders into Indian, Asian and European markets.
She will also assist the commercial team at Tarporley in generating tonnage for processing through its own depot at Oswestry and with third party partners throughout the UK.
Claire O’Donoghue has over 25 years experience in the recovered paper industry, having previously worked for the recycling divisions of two large mill groups.
Recycling UK managing director Neil Clarke said: “I am delighted that such a well-liked and respected person within the industry has joined the team at Recycling UK and that her knowledge and professionalism will bode well in helping the company to seek new opportunities to take the group forward.
“The Recycling UK team has been further strengthened by her appointment.”
