A new website has completed the launch of SCM Environmental.
With the unveiling of www.scm-enviro.com, this means that the rebrand process from Scrap-ex to the two separate businesses SCM Environmental and Resource Efficient Business is now completed.
Resource Efficient Business is a media company producing www.rebnews.com, Resource Efficient Business magazine and a range of events. It is led by Paul Sanderson.
While SCM Environmental provides expertise in packaging waste regulations, PRN trading, material market consulting and waste management services and is headed by Duncan Frearson and Gareth Goodall.
Resource Efficient Business director Paul Sanderson said: “Resource efficiency and the circular economy presents an opportunity to build bridges between the recycling and resource sector I have been involved in for the past decade and the rest of the economy.
“As a result, our new media brand Resource Efficient Business was the logical step to take and the feedback we have had has been fantastic.
“Although the Scrap-ex brand is now no longer used, I am delighted that Duncan and Gareth will be using the previous SCM brand that was used by our magazine for the services they have successfully provided over the past few years. We will continue to act in partnership, even though these businesses will now operate under different brand names.”
SCM Environmental director Gareth Goodall added: “SCM Environmental will continue to provide all of the services that we previously offered as part of Scrap-ex and we will continue to work closely with Resource Efficient Business.
“As the premium brokerage for PRNs and environmental compliance services, we will continue to provide the high standards of service expected by our customers.”
SCM Environmental director Duncan Frearson said: “SCM Environmental offers the material market consulting and waste management service side of the business the opportunity to develop and grow, allowing us to provide a wider range of services to public and private sector clients.
“This is the right time for us to use the SCM Environmental brand, while also giving our support to Resource Efficient Business as a unique and forward-thinking media company.”
