Compliance scheme Budget Pack has relaunched as ecosurety to reflect its wider sustainability service.
Founded in 2003, the company started by offering a packaging compliance service, but now offers services covering sustainable strategy, waste, intelligent reporting and compliance.
ecosurety managing director James Potten said: “It’s a hugely exciting change. Becoming ecosurety is a significant move for the business. It tells our stakeholders – our customers, our staff and the many hundreds of suppliers we work with – precisely who we are and all that we can do.
“Why are we doing this now? Because since the launch of the company in 2003 we have changed a great deal. We are a dramatically different business today, with sophisticated services that build on our roots in packaging-waste compliance and take us way beyond it.”
Chairman and founder Steve Clark (pictured) said: “The new name is a great fit with our ethos and approach, but we also work in partnership with our members and help them embrace sustainability on their own terms.
“More and more companies are working to become sustainable in the widest sense – environmentally, socially, economically. We are driving that change and that agenda already. It’s essential to our business values and is also powerful because we have those products and services ready and waiting to support members.”
