A new Welsh Natural Resources Minister has been appointed following a cabinet reshuffle by First Minister of Wales Carwyn Jones.
Carl Sargeant (pictured) replaces John Griffiths who was only in the role since July following the sacking of previous Natural Resources Minister Alun Davies who was sacked after pressurising civil servants for private information on opposition AMs.
Elected in 2003, Carl Sargeant was previously Minister of Housing and Regeneration.
Carwyn Jones said: “This is a cabinet equipped with the skills and experience to deliver the changes that Wales needs in the crucial months ahead. We promised this would be a term of delivery and I am proud of what we have achieved together in the last three years.”
