A new release of import quota for paper has been revealed by the Chinese Government.
This quota release totals 1,171,500 tonnes and has been supplied to a number of mills in the country.
After recent small releases of import quota for paper, this represents the highest issue since 23 December when 2.7 million tonnes was made available.
However, China is expected to reduce to zero imports of solid waste by the end of this year.
