Colgate-Palmolive has announced that all plastics in its packaging across its product range will be 100% recyclable by 2025.
The company has said that it has already made progress on advancing its sustainability goals, and currently 98% of its packaging is PVC-free.

The report highlighted that the company is:
- Remaining committed to reaching its goal of using 100% sustainable palm oil
- Dedicating time to support the UN Global Compact Sustainable Development Goals
- Achieving and surpassing its 2020 science-based climate goal of reducing absolute greenhouse gas emissions from manufacturing by 25%.
Colgate chairman, president and chief executive Ian Cook said: “With the help of Colgate People and our suppliers and partners, we are making good progress against our 2020 goals.
“But our sustainability journey is on-going and as we achieve some of our goals, we are assessing new areas for focus and new targets to strive for so that we can continue building a future to smile about.”
