Dragon Steel, the subsidiary of Taiwan’s China Steel Corp. (CSC) has decide to hike its electric furnace (EF) Al-killed steel wire rod prices by 4% equal to NT$1,000/ton due to the raising prices of raw materials in global market.
Since Dragon Steel has announced to raise its price, most market analysts believe that Taiwan’s wire producers, such as Quintain Steel, Tycoons and Yieh Hsing will also hike their wire rod prices accordingly.
