A materials recycling facility has been extended by Bristol-based ETM Recycling.

The company, which specialises in construction waste recycling, invested £50,000 on the facility to install a new picking line that will enable it to improve on the 3,000 tonnes of waste per month it was previously handling.

Currently, the facility sends 89 per cent of the waste to recycling including materials such as cardboard, metals and uPVC windows.

ETM Recycling managing director Eddie McCormack said: “The construction sector and wider economy is still facing difficult times and margins are increasingly tight. It is now that we need to focus on improving our efficiency and recycling rates in order to provide our clients with the best prices and the best service delivery.”
