Jan. 19 (Bloomberg) — The European Commission, the
regulator of the European Union’s emissions trading system, said
it will suspend transactions in all national registries until at
least Jan. 26.
The suspension will start today at 7 p.m. Brussels time and
“is taken in view of recurring security breaches in national
registries over the last two months,” the commission’s climate
department said on its website today.
