European paper recycling collections saw slight growth in 2016

Collections of paper for recycling grew by 1% in 2016, according to the latest statistics from CEPI.

The paper recycling rate therefore reached 72.5% in 2016.

Exports also increased by 5.6% last year, with 91.7% of them going to Asian markets.
