The Bureau of the European Parliament has announced that it will eliminate the use of all plastic water bottles and other single-use plastic products.
This decision is the final stage of a project which has already seen 166 waste fountains being installed in Parliament buildings, as well as the restriction of the offer of plastic waste bottles in meetings lasting less than 1 ½ hours and at large-scale events.
