Recycling company Veolia has appointed Gavin Graveson as its new senior vice president of UK & Ireland as Estelle Brachlianoff moves to become the global chief operating officer.
This decision follows Veolia’s 2011 transformation plan where a new group of management executives emerged who have made a significant contribution to the change of Veolia, and since 2016 have implemented the renewed profitable growth strategy.
In 2012, Estelle Brachlianoff moved to head up Veolia’s UK operations as part of this process.
Veolia’s chief executive Antoine Frérot said that Estelle Brachlianoff had made the UK and Ireland one of the main showcases for Veolia’s transformation, operational discipline and commercial success.
She has also reformed the company’s traditional businesses with innovative municipal contracts in water, energy and waste and due to this has made this region Veolia’s second more important business zone after France.
Her new appointment will take effect on the 1 September 2018.
Gavin Graveson will then take up her role, moving from his current responsibilities as chief operating officer – public and commercial in the UK.
