Cosmetics retailer Lush has opened its first packaging-free shop in Milan to raise awareness of the impacts plastics has on marine life.
Currently over 40% over the brand’s product range has no packaging, but the company hopes that this new store will allow customers to share and exchange ideas for a future without plastics.

It has also launched a new online campaign today to support World Ocean Day to raise awareness of the effect single-use plastics has on the marine environment, and to start a discussion on how to tackle this global issue.
This campaign will be introduced into stores from the 18th June.
