One of the largest scrap metal companies in Staffordshire has taken delivery of a new Sennebogen 830M scrap metal material handler.

This was supplied by E H Hassell and Sons to Moores Metals. In 2011, Moores Metals moved its business to a larger site in the centre of Stoke-on-Trent and needed a new scrap metal handler as a result.

Moores Metals managing director Phillip Moore said: “We have been using scrap metal material handlers for a number of years and needed another machine for our new operation. We knew that E H Hassell & Sons, who are a local company to ourselves, were the Sennebogen UK dealer.

“We had also heard through the industry that the Sennebogen product was of very high quality, had excellent reliability and safety features, one of the best operator’s cabs on the market and most importantly low running costs.”

The 830M bought by Moores Metals has a 17 metre reach, 800 litre five tyne grab and a number of industry-leading safety features.

E H Hassell & Sons managing director Ian Hassell said: “Our company has been servicing and supplying equipment since 1974. By working together with our business partners (Sennebogen material handlers and Ing. Bonfiglioli scrap metal processing equipment), we are able to continually focus on the scrap metal industry, and see our company as specialists in that market.”
