European PVC industry sustainability programme VinylPlus has said that 514,913 tonnes of PVC was recycled by its members in 2015.
Of this, 45% was window profiles and similar products. The greatest volumes were registered and certified by Recovinyl.

VinylPlus general manager Brigitte Dero (pictured) said: “Our progress and achievements in 2015 demonstrate how the VinylPlus Voluntary Commitment is contributing to addressing climate change, improving sustainability and moving the European PVC industry towards a circular economy.”
