Novelis aiming to be climate neutral by 2050 at latest

Aluminium rolling and recycling business Novelis has announced that it intends to be climate neutral by 2050 at the latest.

It also intends to reduce its carbon footprint by 30% by 2026.

Additionally, among its sustainability targets it plants a 20% reduction in waste to landfills by 2026, a 10% reduction in energy intensity and a 10% reduction in water consumption by the same year.

The company also intends to increase the amount of recycled content it uses in its products.
