OCC and copper increase in price, PET bottles lower a little

The price of OCC has kept on rising after last month’s correction and was up by £10 per tonne last week.

However, mixed paper did not have the same momentum despite recent price rises and remained at the same price as the week before.

PET bottles were the only mover in plastics, losing £5 per tonne on the back of diminishing demand.

Copper saw a price increase of £100 per tonne, but steel grades lost £10 per tonne.
