Paper prices drop, metals up, plastics stable

There was a drop in the value of paper grades last week as a lack of shipping containers continued to bite into the market.

OCC was down by £4 per tonne, with mixed paper dropping by the same amount.

However, demand for material and an increase on the LME, saw copper prices increase by £175 per tonne, but brass only increased by £25 per tonne. Aluminium was stable.

There was no change for plastics grades.
