Paper prices keep on rising, movement for plastics and metals

The hot market for paper grades continued last week as demand kept pushing the price of most grades up.

OCC rose by another £2 per tonne, mixed was up by £4 and news and pam by another £3.

In plastics grades, £5 came off the increasingly weak PET bottles, but LDPE 98/2 increased by the same amount.

Copper grades saw £50 come off on last week, but aluminium gained by £25.
