Paul Levett said: “The market is changing rapidly, and, as was demonstrated at the recent LRS Network Meeting, there are lots of new opportunities to support businesses, particularly retailers and brands, who are striving to be leaders, and to encourage their supply chain, to lead in sustainability.

“LRS’s UK experience in producer responsibility, sustainable procurement and the waste and recycling sector, combined with Derek Stephenson’s international experience and reputation means that the company is uniquely equipped to capitalise on the opportunities to meet these developing market requirements.”

LRS managing director Dee Moloney said: “LRS will benefit from Paul’s experience as a non-executive director and/or advisor with a number of businesses, and his active involvement in a variety of relevant industry and environmental organisations.

“He has just concluded a two-year term as a member of the CBI’s London Region Council and is a former board member of the Environmental Services Association, and we are anticipating that he will be able to ensure that we understand and meet the needs of our clients as they respond to the challenges of new and emerging market conditions and legislation.”

As well as LRS, Paul Levett also holds non-executive or advisory roles with Closed Loop Recycling, Powerday and Frankis Solutions.
