Aurora and Venture produce high quality PCR-based PP and HDPE compounds with a current production capacity of 20,000 tonnes per year at their production site in Leigh, Greater Manchester.

Ravago intends to invest further in its operations in the UK.

Aurora Manufacturing director Alex Cook said: “Following two decades of work within the UK plastics recycling industry we are pleased to announce the acquisition of our businesses into the Ravago group.

“As the recycling market continues to mature within the UK we are very much focussed on expansion and realising our full potential in the coming years. The investment and support of Ravago will play a key part in this and will accelerate our ability to adapt and meet the requirements of the future market for recycled plastics.

“Ravago’s business is a fantastic story of success, and we are looking forwards to working among new colleagues who are driven to help us achieve our goal of becoming the premier provider of recycled polymers within the UK.”
