The Seventh REB Market Intelligence Summit 2018 has been launched and will take place on the 2 October at Formby Hall near Liverpool.
This year’s Summit will focus on the Resources & Waste Strategy, Simplifying the Recycling System and End Destinations for Materials, and is an essential event for anyone who produces, collects, processes or uses recycled materials.
Speakers confirmed so far include:
- David McDiarmid, corporate relations advisor, Princes Group, on how the company is using more recycled content in its packaging
- Jason Fazackerley, chief executive, Tegos UK, on how technology could help connect new supply chains
- Peter Clayson, general manager – business development and external affairs, DS Smith, on how Asia has affected the UK recycling market
- Forbes McDougall, head of circular economy, Veolia, who will be taking part in a live panel interview.
This event also includes a pub quiz, in which you can enter as a team of five or if you’re attending on your own or in a smaller group you can be put into a team to help network.
There are two ticket types, a premium ticket, which includes the full conference, attendance to the quiz, food and a room at this luxury hotel, and a standard ticket which provides you with attendance to the conference only.
