Reconomy has acquired two waste management firms in the US as it seeks to grow its presence across the Atlantic.
The London-headquartered circular economy specialist completed the purchase of upstate New York outfit Complete Solutions & Sourcing and Massachussetts-based Waste Focus.
Reconomy said the pair would accelerate the growth of its US platform Lincoln Waste Solutions, which it bought last summer and will now process more than 1m tonnes of material annually.
Complete Solutions & Sourcing specialises in waste management for shops and multi-family residential units.
Waste Focus works across the property management, hospitality and manufacturing sectors.
