Manchester-based collector Fresh Start Waste Services is deploying 800 recycled bins at sites across the North West.
The firm said the refuse containers, supplied by ESE World, would help slash carbon emissions and promote responsible waste management.
The recycled bins will be stationed at sites managed by workspace provider Bruntwood, which recently appointed Fresh Start to manage its rubbish.
Each container is made up four-fifths from recycled material, and generates 31kg less of carbon dioxide than an equivalent created purely from virgin stock, according to the provider.
Bins have already been rolled out across Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Bolton and Altrincham.
They are used to segregate waste streams efficiently for recycling at Fresh Start’s materials recovery facility.
Ben Entwistle, head of operations at the waste management firm, said: “Reducing our carbon impact through every element of our operations is central to our ethos at Fresh Start.
“The introduction of recycled bins is a natural extension of our commitment to sustainability and reducing our environmental footprint.”
