Metals were the key risers in last week’s market for recyclate.
Copper was up £50 per tonne, Brass by £100 and aluminium grades by £50 per tonne.
Ferrous grades remained stable however.
Most plastics remained where they were the previous week, but LDPE grades saw a further fall with £10 per tonne coming off 98/2.
Mixed rigid plastics have also dropped with a gate fee now being the norm.
Paper grades remained unusually stable with OCC, news&pam and mixed paper all unchanged since mid-August.
