December saw export figures fall significantly, as markets for exports of PE-based plastics drew to a close for 2023.
A total of 19,849 tonnes left the UK across the month, down from 25,752 tonnes in November.
Turkey remained strong and continued to dominate the market, receiving more than the next top four countries combined.
Overall, exports are also down compared to December 2022, when 21,765 tonnes was exported.
