These are the latest HMRC export figures for February 2023 for PE-based plastics – commodity code 391510. Only destinations of more than 1,000 tonnes per month are included.
Exports of PE-based plastics increased to 19,327 tonnes in February from 17,242 tonnes in January.

But this was lower than February 2022 when 21,162 tonnes was exported from the UK to the rest of the world.
Of this, 62% went to the EU in February, compared to 71% in January. Turkey took much of the rest.
