Polymer exports saw a slight increase in materials leaving UK shores during June across Europe and Asia, with 21,335 tonnes of PE-based plastics for recycling leaving the UK, compared to 21,280 in May.
The market on the whole remained steady, although some destinations did see a decrease. Belgium registered a drop from 1,829 tonnes in June, to 1,386 tonnes registered in May. Meanwhile Netherlands saw an increase overall, registering 4,755 tonnes in June, compared to 3,971 tonnes in May.
